Ticket #1285 (Closed: fixed)

Main menu behaviour change

Priority: normal Reporter: Andilek
Severity: tweak Assigned to: paul
Component: Admin Interface Status: closed
Version: 2.3.0 Resolution: fixed
Milestone: 2.3.1 Keywords:

Description by Andilek:

In Firefox, when using tabbed browsing, the menu is bothering me. At the moment I move my mouse cross the menu, it activates, even though I want to move to tab. I suggest to add small delay between mouse enters the menu and activating it. People browsing and switching several tabs will be happy and people working with campsite will not be delayed much, because this menu is not accessed so often. Delay can be only at the first level and once menu is active, than it can go away.

This is starting to bother me as well. (Docmint has the same problem) Perhaps we should make the user click the top menu before it activates?

I agree. The popup menus should work like other popup menus in your operating system and open only on click.
