In the period (estimated at approximately 6 months) before an all-PHP parser, we should strongly consider releasing Campsite as a set of packages for commonly-used distributions. John Pye already has experimental RPMs for FC3, so the next in line would be .debs. Mandrake RPMs, Gentoo eBuilds and other variations can come later depending on community interest. Such packages would greatly increase the ease of installation, even for experienced sysadmins.
