Description by douglas:
In 2.4.1, article attachments are getting renamed to something like '00000003.pdf', which is what it is saved as when a user tries to download a file.
If I understand it correctly, the system should rewrite the filename when a user tries to download an attachment, so that while it is named '000000003.pdf' on the server filesystem, the user will see 'square_brochure.pdf' But that isn't happening.
On Windows Firefox 1.5, the file downloads with the correct filename, i.e. 'Square_brochure.pdf', so no problem with renaming. But on IE6, it shows up as 00000003.pdf.
On Mac Firefox 1.5, it downloads with the correct filename. But on Safari, it downloads as '00000003.pdf.'
On Firefox 1.5 under Ubuntu Breezy, it downloads as '00000003.pdf'.
