Description by douglas:
Currently in LS Studio, there's no way for the user to know a playlist scheduled from the scheduler is actually playing. Either we could have it appear in the 'now playing' master panel, or in the LS Studio Scheduler window, but it needs to be somewhere.

This is an issue we discussed on the list a while back. After much deliberation, the decision was to show just what is playing in live mode, the GUI being primarily for live mode broadcast. I agree the scheduler needs to show what is playing somehow and somewhere, but don't feel qualified to make a decision about this. I think that for the time being we should stick to what we have: * html UI is used to schedule things * c++ UI is for live mode and leave the opening of this can of worms for later. If you disagree, please start a new thread about this on the list.

- description changed.
- component changed from LiveSupport Studio to gLiveSupport
- milestone set to future
A single line in the 'now playing' box could show the name, time started and time remaining for the playlist.
