Description by douglas:

In LS Studio, the 'Play' button disappears on an intermittent basis. When this happens, new items cannot be added to the live mode window, or at least do not appear; the live mode window does not display any items. At the same time, however, items continue to play, and sound is output.

As well, the application crashes without any error message when it runs out of items in the live mode window after the bug occurs.

that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) ls-test@netfinity-2:/opt/livesupport/bin$
