On the 1.0.2 version of the live CD, apache, postgresql and livesupport services are not started. The live CD has a fully functional virtual file system in RAM, so this should be possible (and it did work in the 1.0 version).

    Workaround: start the services manually.

    Open a console, and type 

    $ su
# /etc/init.d/apache start
# /etc/init.d/postgresql start
# /etc/init.d/livesupport-station start

    (then you can close the console).

    Add/Change #1560 (services are not started on the 1.0.2 live CD)
