Description by douglas:
A mechanism for keeping track of stations' uploads and downloads should be included in a future LS release. This mechanism would work along the lines of old BBS systems, many of which assigned ratios to the number of downloads to uploads a user could perform. The idea is to prevent stations from 'leeching' programs, and to encourage them to upload their own programs for sharing with others. It could also eventually lead to a payment mechanism, whereby stations could set a price for their programs, and then other stations could either pay cash for that program or use their upload credits to 'purchase' it.
