Description by maroy:
some metadata types need their value sets to be returned, to enable browsing. thus a function is needed to retrieve the possible value sets for earch metadata type (for example, for Author, return all the author names in the database).

New method locstor.browseCategory added, it allow specify metadata category name (e.g. dc:title) and criteria (same as in search) and return all matching values from the metadata category (output may be limited by limit/offset fields in criteria). It have PHP equivalent GreenBox?::browseCategory.
