Description by douglas:
Users should be able to create blank playlists for use as placeholders for shows they know are scheduled for a certain time, although the actual playlist content has not been selected and saved yet. With such a blank playlist function, a program director could schedule a certain show for a regular time - a DJ that always plays mornings from 6 to 9, for example - but have the DJ fill in the playlist for that show later. Blank playlists would have to be differently represented in schedule views, so that it would be obvious that the show needs to have its playlist finished before broadcast.
