A group of features enabling newsrooms on deadline to produce quality broadcast. These features would include: - Closer integration with audio software such as Audacity. File -> Save in Audacity returns the LS File Info menu instead of the filesystem menu - Screen scroll displays a reporter's script in a scroll that is configurable for faster or slower scroll. - Workflow integration would pre-create roles such as reporter, editor, and editor-in-chief, and would allow notification on events such as file passed or file rejected. - Workflow integration would also allow the creation of a "newsroom view" displaying the status of reports slated for the broadcast. - Text editor enables reporter to write directly in the newsroom environment, and saves to the Description field of LS metadata.
