for some reason, the DEBIAN/control files are missing dependency information for the livesupport-station and livesupport-studio packages, though dependencies are properly defined for them in the source debian/control file...

    hard to nail down, would probaby involve creating empty pckages and seeing where it works or not.

      But strange, it behaves different (=right) on my system: dpkg -i livesupport-station_1.0.2-2_i386.deb Wähle vormals abgewähltes Paket livesupport-station. (Lese Datenbank ... 90593 Dateien und Verzeichnisse sind derzeit installiert.) Entpacke livesupport-station (aus livesupport-station_1.0.2-2_i386.deb) ... Checking for required tools... Exectuable sed found... Exectuable psql found... Exectuable php found... Exectuable pear found... Exectuable odbcinst found... Checking for validity of apache daemon group www-data... Apache daemon group www-data OK. dpkg: Abhängigkeitsprobleme verhindern Konfiguration von livesupport-station:

      livesupport-station hängt ab von php4-pgsql; aber: Paket php4-pgsql bereitstellt, ist nicht installiert. dpkg: Fehler beim Bearbeiten von livesupport-station (--install): Abhängigkeitsprobleme - lasse es unkonfiguriert Fehler traten auf beim Bearbeiten von: livesupport-station

      (sorry I only have it in german. dkpg stops install as it realized that php4-pgsql is not installed)
