Interoperability with Gallery3 Photo gallery

Make gallery3 work as seamlesly as possible with campsite structure in terms of languages, issues etc. Watermarking would be plus for this module.

Gallery should have basic features:

  • albums (distribution of images to different folders)
  • thumbnail/predefined standard/full resolution image display
  • extended description for album & image (incl. EXIF metadata)
  • comments (for both album and single image)
  • rating (for both album and single image)
  • RSS feed (images/description/comments)

Additionally it is usually asked to have:

  • gallery search
  • random image slideshow (like banner, to show on other pages/external resources)
  • tags (tag cloud)

Gallery3 could be considered as a nice example of how it could be implemented.

Watermarking would be plus for this module.
Gallery3 already has watermarking module (not enabled by default, available in admin panel).

There’s an opportunity for developers to create third-party modules (this is IMO the most appropriate way to interact with CS) – Github (gallery3-contrib / modules / developer) .
